Ronnie Allen Mayse, 44, of Troy died July 7, 2008, at 9:20 p.m. at Regional Hospital of Jackson.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Chapel of Dilday Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery near Obion. Brother Eddie Mallonee will officiate.

Mr. Mayse was born July 9, 1963 in Long Beach, California, son of Bobby and Virginia (Hollingsworth) Mayse of Troy. He married the former Tammy Carol Brimm February 2, 2002. She survives. He had been employed at Royalguard Vinyl Company in Newbern as a fork lift operator for ten years and was an avid fisherman.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by one stepdaughter, Tiffany Simmons of Brownsville, Kentucky; his stepson, Danny Ray Bradshaw of Troy; one granddaughter, Hannah Chae Simmons of Mason Hall; one brother, Michael Mayse of Troy; two nieces, Kaycee Mayse of Hornbeak and Makayla Mayse of Troy; one nephew, Michael Mayse, Jr. of Troy; and his grandmother, Elva Mayse of Troy.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Dilday Funeral Home 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 8:00 a.m. until the hour of services on Thursday.

Pallbearers to serve will be Steve Orr, Jeff Wells, David Mayse, John Hurst, Lynn Ruark and Paul Pruitt.

Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Shane Cherry.
